100th post!!!

This is my 100th post! I would have loved to been able to share some wonderful adoption news in it but there is none. And Mardi Gras is this week so not much will be done on adoption files. As far as we know our file is still back in Parquet getting fixed. Sigh...that seems to have become the story of our lives. We did get to talk to J today. He sang a song for me and was doing some of his spelling words. He was having a little trouble hearing us though.

Since we don't have good adoption news, I thought I'd share some pictures of the zaniness of our lives. I've spent about two hours uploading and arranging these pics. Enjoy!

This is A's dog Oreo. She sits cocked way back like that all the time. It's too funny. And then she rests her head on one of the railings and surveys her kingdom.

This is R's goat, Lillybet, peeking around from inside her little house.

Here is another pic of Oreo. Don't you love her black nose surrounded by the white?
This is R's dog, Trixy. We think this point of view looks like the cards with the pics of animals where their heads are out of proportion with their bodies.

R has taught Lillybet to dance on her back legs. We need to get her a tutu.

This looks like they are doing a finely timed dance.

Aren't they cute?

Lillybet, Lillybet, oh Lilly, Lillybet. Lillybet. (pop) (sung to the tune of "Lollipop")

Sanome likes to be near me. She is actually R's cat but she likes to be with me at the computer or on my back when I'm trying to read. Silly cat. She's nice and warm though.
These two cats are liking this chair lately. If T is not in it, they are.

Then again, Dexter will curl up anywhere he takes a fancy to. Here he is in a basket in the girls' bathroom.

I like to call these next set of pics "The world according to A". She is so creative and loves to look at things in new and exciting ways. She got a camera for Christmas/birthday and within hours of receiving it was making little animated movies with it and looking at the world in a whole new way. Here she is taking a pic of the back of her head to see how she did on a new hairstyle. She is checking it out in the reflection in her mirror. Sorry it's so dark.
This is A and her friend E. They both love the theater and excell at drama. They decided to do their makeup to look like a picture of a chipmunk that they had.

This is E showing the pic of the chipmunk. They did a good job, didn't they?

A is all about fashion. She likes to put different outfits together and is always cutting and sewing her clothes to get what she wants. I think the gloves are a great look here.

See, she likes to look at things from a new perspective. This is a tilted, reflected funny face.

Here, she spun around in a circle and took a self portrait. See, it takes a creative mind to think of these things. She never ceases to amaze us.

I wish you could see her eyes better here. They are definitely crossed.
So that's what's going on in our world. What's going on in yours?

Cool pics. Your daughter is very creative! I wish I could meet you and your family someday. Maybe I'll have to vacation near you someday just so we can meet.
